A Workshop on the United Methodist Social Principles

Place:  Harris United Methodist Church, 20 S. Vineyard Boulevard, Honolulu, HI

Fee:  $12.50 includes lunch on both days

Workshop Leaders:  Levi Bautista and Neal Christie, two national Church and Society staff.

Methodists are known for our Social Principles and this workshop will review the Bible and theological basis of the principles as well as focusing on their practical implications.

We will worship through music and scriptures.  The service will include participants from our bell choirs, praise team, chancel choir and soloist.  All the lectionary scriptures for the day will be read:  Isaiah 61:1-4, 8-11, Psalm128, 1Thessalonians 5:16-24 and John 1:6-8, 19-28.  You won't want to miss this 3rd Sunday in Advent as we journey "From Despair to Hope."  Bring family and friends!
